Debating Trip

Mr Kay took a group of Y10 students on an exciting politics and debating trip hosted by the Politics and International Relations department at the University of Surrey. Our students had the opportunity to participate in a hustings, a mock election, and a mock debate! At the end of the session, Zoe Franklin, MP for Guildford, answered questions about the world of politics.

We are incredibly proud of our Y10s for being excellent representatives of the school, their respectfulness, curiosity, and positive attitude to learning was noticed by all, including Zoe herself, who wrote to us about the day.
