Students Perform At "Schools Got Talent" Concert at G LIVE

On Wednesday 9th March, our talented students took part in the annual “Schools Got Talent” concert which is organised by the Rotary Club of Guildford District with three other secondary schools: George Abbot School, Prior's Field School and the Duke of Kent School.   The entire show was amazing with fantastic performances from all the students involved.

Our talented students sang in the three different choirs - choosing a range of songs from Dear Evan Hansen to Adele's To Make You Feel My Love. Following some exceedingly quick costume and microphone changes, they then dazzled the packed audience with a medley of numbers from our recent College Show Shrek The Musical.

The finale number which all the schools contributed to was dedicated to the issue of global warming with a touching rendition of Earth Song performed by every student involved in the event. Our students conducted themselves with maturity and enthusiasm throughout the rehearsal and live performance, making us extremely proud.

Mrs Hatch said: "We were very proud of our students and feel lucky to have such a talented group of young people, as well as staff who nurture, encourage and support them every step of the way".
