Thank You To The Friends Of Christ's College
As always, everyone at Christ's College are very grateful to our parents, and the Friends of Christ's College for their continued support. Whether it is organising the regular second-hand uniform sales from parental donations, providing football kit, supporting school events such as the College production, providing refreshments or organising events like a film night for students to enjoy, they continue to provide an important supportive role.
Now that we are approaching Christmas, the FCC team are particularly busy, sprinkling some Christmas cheer, firstly picking up the lovely Christmas tree that is currently in the College reception which was donated through the "Hans Christmas Anderson School Christmas Tree Give Away" competition.
Last week in assemblies more than half the students were given a special reward of a Cadbury’s Advent calendar and also certificates. The FCC wanted to recognise the exemplary conduct of the vast majority of students at Christ’s College despite everything this year has thrown at them, they have just come into school and done their best.
This week, Monday (Years 7, 8 and 9) and Wednesday (Years 10 and 11) the FCC will be offering all students some hot chocolate (with cream and marshmallows) serviced with some chocolates or Haribos as a Christmas treat during student's morning breaks.
Many thanks Friends of Christ's College for all you do!

Guildford Community Lottery
âIn November FCC joined the Guildford Community Lottery. Parents can support FCC by paying just £1 per week. This project in conjunction with Guildford Borough Council supports local initiatives and charities. This is an incredible opportunity to help raise money for Friends of Christ’s College as 50p in every ticket sold comes back to FCC and that means more investment and enrichment for every child at Christ’s College! 10% of the ticket sales also go to other local good causes.
