Christian Faith Week
Students enjoyed a busy and varied Christian Faith Week.
The Chapel was transformed for the week with a range of creative activities that encourage personal reflection on issues such as forgivenss, injustice, thankfulness, big questions, identity and stillness.
We were also fortunate to be visited by the following;
Harry Baker, the youngest every Poetry Slam champion. He performed his poems, shared stories and talked about faith, art and the media
Jessie Faerber (Author)
Jessie is the founder of the Belle Ministry, an organisation who lead workshops on identity, self image, purppose and worth within schools. Jessie spoke with Key stage 3 and 4 girls about how her faith in God has a positive impact on her identity and self-worth.
Joy Wright (Emerge Advocacy)
Joy is the founder of Emerge, a charity based at the Royal Surrey Hospital providing support and care to young people in the midst of a crisis becasue of mental health issues. Joy will be talking to our young people about why God cares about our mental health and mental wellbeing in a crisis.
The week was rounded off with an energetic Nerf Battle and Donuts!
