Christ's College takes its commitment to preparing students for working life seriously. A comprehensive programme of lessons based on five themes: ‘ What is work?', ‘Me and My Ambitions', ‘Making Choices', ‘Introduction to Work Experience' and ‘ Presenting Myself' runs throughout the main school in Learn to Learn / Enrichment lessons. In addition to this there is up to date information about the world of work in the Careers Library, situated in the Learning Resources Centre. Every student benefits from a one-week work experience placement in Year 10 The college works alongside local employers, Young Enterprise, Connexions, Trident and AimHigher to deliver elements of the Careers, Work-Related Learning and Enterprise Education programme as well as arranging longer term work experience placements for those students who might benefit from them and has built up strong links with the local business community.

Links to organisations which provide impartial careers advice, information and guidance will appear below shortly.
